Thus INTSOK has always tried to profile technologies and capabilities related to Field Development and Operations when organizing delegations to London.....
If you have been able to study this years INTSOK Annual Market report, Chapter 5. Special Focus – Capacities in the Value Chain and the Major Global Contractors, you will have noticed that there is a remarkable trend in our industry…. If the observed trend of long term frame agreements between operators and major contractors continues it will become increasingly important for Norwegian suppliers to secure healthy relationships with the large global contractors and equipment suppliers. There is also reason to believe that long term frame agreements will lead to more standardization and that there will be less day to day contracting as long term agreements cover more of the operators needs.It will thus be important for Norwegian suppliers to secure healthy relationships with large global contractors / engineering companies like Aker Solutions, Amec, Wood Group, CB&I, Foster Wheeler, Petrofac, SNC Lavalin and Worley Parsons and offshore construction yard companies like Kvaerner, Hereema and others….
Following discussions with some of our key contacts in UK / London, we are proud to present a program including some of the above companies for the period 25th – 28th September. As can be seen in the enclosure. Following a dialogue with the relevant Contractors, we have decided to organize a “ Main Contractor Week “ and to invite Partner companies along to London with capabilities as defined in the two Catalogues that we already have presented to the Clients:
· Equipment, services and systems for floaters
· Products, technology and services for Subsea Field Developments (SURF)We are planning this event for 8 - 10 ( maximum 12 ) Partner companies to ensure each are getting a reasonable opportunity to present their technologies / products / services and experiences.
