Krylov Shipbuilding Research Institute joins RU-NO Barents Project
INTSOK is pleased to welcome The State Unitary Enterprise "Krylov Shipbuilding Research Institute" to the RU-NO Barents Project .The Institute has confirmed its participation and dedicated resources to all 5 Focus Areas in the project.
Krylov Shipbuilding Research Institute is the largest shipbuilding research Centre in Russia and ensures design and construction of naval ships, commercial vessels and other marine structures complying with international standards.
Along with traditional research divisions, the Institute has also incorporated:
- The Central Ship Design Bureau "Baltsudoproject" whose designs have served to build over 2,600 naval and commercial ships of about 12,000,000 t total displacement.
- The Central Research Institute "Lot", the principal shipbuilding institution in charge of standardization and naval and commercial ship equipment database management.
